- What is Boonio?
Boonio is a B2B marketplace platform that connects businesses with professional service firms. Boonio facilitates discovery, procurement, project management, and service delivery through a streamlined, secure, and efficient process.
- How does Boonio work?
Boonio enables clients to post projects RFXs and find service firms that meet their needs. Service firms can create service offerings (pre-packaged fixed price projects), submit proposals, collaborate and manage escrow payments through the platform.
- Who can use Boonio?
Boonio is designed for businesses of all sizes looking to procure services, as well as service providers offering professional services in various industries.
- How does Boonio help freelancers?
Boonio is primarily a B2B platform. However, Boonio allows freelancers (and individual users not assigned to a company) to sign up. Individual users can procure services on Boonio, but only business users who have gone through the KYB process can create proposals, submit service offerings or receive payments. Freelancers, however, can collaborate with firms to be included in their project teams (with their payments being processed outside of Boonio).

- How do I register for an account?
To register, click on the “Sign Up” button on the homepage, fill out the registration form with your details, and verify your email address.
- What are the requirements for registration?
You must be at least 18 years old and use Boonio for business purposes only. You will need to provide accurate information about yourself and your business.
- How do I verify my account?
After registering, you will receive an email with a verification link. Click on the link to verify your account.
Account Management
- Profile Settings
- How do I update my profile information?
Log in to your account, go to the “My Profile” section, and click “Edit” to update your information.
- How do I change my password?
Go to “Settings,” enter the old and new passwords, click on “Change Password,” and follow the prompts to set a new password.
- How do I deactivate or delete my account?
Contact customer support at support@boonio.com to request deactivation or deletion of your account.
- Account Types
- What are the different types of accounts on Boonio?
Boonio offers Individual accounts (Freelancers) and Company accounts (Clients, Service Providers, or both). Client accounts can post RFXs, and offer services. Individual accounts can join Client accounts as prospective team members.
- Can I switch account types?
Yes, by assigning yourself to a company, your account is automatically switched from a freelancer/individual to a company account (subject to company admin approval). You can remove yourself from a company at any time by clicking “Leave Company” in the company section of “My Profile”
- How do I add users to my company account?
When a new user signs up, the company admin user will receive an email to approve adding the new user to your company.
Using Boonio
- Finding and Posting Projects
- How do I post an RFX?
Go to the “RFX” section, click “Create”, fill in the RFX details, and submit. Include a detailed description, requirements, budget (optional), timeline, milestones, and any specific skills you are looking for in a service provider. Your RFX will be visible on the Marketplace to potential service providers.
- How do I assist clients with their RFIs?
Service Firms can view RFIs on the Marketplace, collaborate with clients using instant messages to share proposals and references, as well as collaborate publically with other vendors to enrich RFI by making suggestions on areas of improvement.
- How do I find and propose to RFPs?
Service Firms can browse available RFPs on the Marketplace and submit proposals by clicking on the “Propose” icon.
- Service Offerings
- How do I create a service offering?
Go to “Services Offerings,” click “Create,” and fill out the required fields with your service details.
- How do I manage my service listings?
In the “My Services Offerings” section, you can edit, update, or delete your service offerings as needed. Service offerings are of two types: Products, where the principal deliverable is an asset or piece of IP, and Projects, which are traditional resource-based projects.
- How are service offerings priced?
All Service Offerings are fixed-price. The price you enter is exclusive of Boonio fees. Boonio’s fees are automatically calculated and added to your fees.
Transactions and Payments
- Escrow Services
- How does the escrow service work?
Funds for a project are held in escrow by Boonio’s escrow service provider, Tazapay. Funds are held in escrow until project milestones are completed and approved by the client, ensuring secure transactions.
- Who is Tazapay?
Tazapay provides an Escrow API and payment services. It is registered in Singapore and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, one of the world’s most well-regulated financial jurisdictions.
- Who provides banking services for Tazapay?
Standard Chartered and Tazapay have a global partnership, providing Tazapay with financial services for B2B platforms like ours.
- How do I make payments through escrow?
When you accept a proposal, complete a milestone, or purchase a Service Offering, you will be prompted to deposit the agreed amount into the escrow account. Since Boonio is a B2B platform, the majority of transactions taking place on Boonio will require a bank transfer rather than a card payment. If you do require a card payment please contact support@boonio.com
- What happens in case of a dispute?
If a dispute arises, Boonio’s dispute resolution team will mediate to resolve the issue. Funds in escrow will be held until a resolution is reached.

Boonio charges a service fee to service providers for each transaction, which includes escrow and platform usage fees.
- How do I view and pay my invoices?
Go to the “RFX” and “Service Offerings” sections of Boonio to view invoices and manage the escrow.
- Are there any additional charges?
Standard Boonio functionality is free, but additional charges may apply for certain premium features or value-added services offered by Boonio.

- How do I report a dispute?
Click on “Support” in the lower-left corner of the Boonio screen and raise a support ticket detailing the dispute.
- What is the dispute resolution process?
The Boonio dispute specialist will review the case, mediate the issue, and make a determination. Once the dispute is resolved, the escrow amount will be credited accordingly.
- How are disputes between users resolved?
Users may pursue resolution independently if Boonio’s mediation does not resolve the dispute.
